About the Owners.

This Old Couch started in 2013 with a thrift store end table, a can of paint, some new drawer handles and a dream.  Haha.  Buying older pieces of furniture and d├ęcor items to fix up and re use, has always been our passion. Couple that passion with an "obsession" for garage sales and thrift stores and you have us!  The idea of starting our own store has been on our minds for many years, but with military careers and kids - some things needed to wait until later in life.  We have been sitting around waiting to come up with that million dollar idea, so that we could quit working and just travel the world, but since that has not happened yet - I guess we will give this a try!

Our first location on the corner of Dayton Xenia and North Fairfield was open from April of 2014 to May of 2015.  When our previous landlord sold the building, we found a second location at 3930 Dayton Xenia.  It is a wonderful farm house built in 1896, that we converted into a store.  It is the Daniel C. Coy House, who was a direct descendent of Jacob Coy, one of the original settlers in the Beavercreek area.  We opened our current location in November of 2015.

Keep history alive.
